The forum discussed ways of coordination and cooperation between the various parties concerned with following up the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The report of the Arab Forum was presented to both the ministerial session and the ESCWA Executive Committee, and it contains the conclusions and recommendations of the region’s voice and its contribution to the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) on Sustainable Development for the year 2018, which was held under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council at the United Nations in New York in July 2018 under the theme "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies."
